A. MISSION STATEMENT
We understand that race and race relations remain two-sensitive topics in America. An even today, America remains
a deeply segregated society. Race is often talked about in terms of black and white, a formula that may be too simple for
today’s diverse society. In reality do we ever have the chance to sit and
talk honestly about how we feel about race? One reason many people don’t engage in honest discussion about race is fear,
controversy, and the anxiety about interacting with those of different race or ethnic group. Even though black and white has
the longest running and most dysfunctional relationship in our history, diversity has move beyond these color barriers. Our
desire is not to solve the problem or combat racism were only here for one reason and one reason only.
It’s our responsibility to know how to embrace others and not
get stuck in the past. Our society is more
Diverse and integrated than ever
before, you have to read and find things out for yourself and forge progressive coalitions with people who don’t look
like you. We intend to assist in this process by spotlighting one race at time per issue in our publication. Giving our readers
a first-hand look into the world of another race or culture, covering questions and helping us engage in honest conversation
without being forced to do so.
We believe that the more you know
about someone the better chance you’ll have of getting to know them or at least have the ability to understand, then
maybe one day you’ll make the attempt to look pass your own pre-conceived notions to introduce yourself. We don’t
believe we can cure the world but we can damn well try. Welcome to the world of Race.
At Race magazine we strive to bring all races together
through news, sexy people, klubbin and a chat room. We will bring unbiased articles
to you to show you our differences and our similarities. Improve race relationships,
which include different cultures.
